Maggies House Designs creates beautiful and inspiring spaces in which families and businesses can truly thrive. Our full-service, luxury design house collaborates with clients on all phases of the design process as described below.

After an initial consultation we will put an estimate together an initial design for you to review along with a budget of what the materials will cost. If you wish to proceed and would like to keep designing, we ask for a retainer that will go towards your purchase of your materials. We do not give away any designs until we receive a retainer. If you decide to use our designs and go elsewhere that covers our design fee.

Renovations often include custom millwork, material selections, design management and we will work seamlessly with your architect, builder, Or contractor to help create an amazing space. We will use 3D perspectives, mood boards, Pinterest, scaled drawings To help bring our design concepts to life.

After stopping out at your place for an initial consultation, we will pull together an estimate for your project. In the estimate, we will list all the tasks that need to be completed, along with the number of hours we think it will take to complete the project. Your hourly rate is based on the number of hours we think the overall project will take. Estimates will not include costs for materials (e.g. furniture, materials, artwork, accessories) or the cost for contractors to complete any necessary tasks. We do work with furniture manufacturers direct and offer great quality furniture and accessories below the retail margin.

Maybe you need help on your outdoor patio space and need a furniture layout. We will give you our professional advise at how to reimagine your space. We work with your existing furniture and specify new pieces where needed, go to retail stores or the Merchandise Mart, or rework your space and give you the tools you need to complete your project independently.

process
Let’s get to know each other!! Once you make contact we will call you within 48 hours, where we can discuss your project further in depth and set up our initial consultation meeting.
In the initial meeting I will get to know all about your project, family, and learn about what you would like to accomplish. Upload photos of your space, rough dimensioned floorplans, ceiling height, share Pinterest inspirations, & more! Based off this meeting I will provide you with an estimate.
If you wish to continue to work with us, (which we hope you do) we will have you sign our contract, make a deposit and/or Retainer, to continue design.
This is where the magic happens. Following the preliminary designs, we will make some tweaks, putting together a design presentation where we can finalize all our selections.
Once final selections are made, and design is finalized we will put together the final contract agreement in place. If ordering materials, we may also need final deposits. All material on order is due 100% prior to the delivery.
Finally, we get to see your dream come to life. I will put together installation binders for all trade workers and work closely with them to make sure every detail goes in exactly as designed and planned. Our team will also be there to assemble and arrange non fixed decor and add any of the finishing touches.
We will do a final walk through and celebrate your newly designed space.
