what about budget??
Having a clear budget is very important in order for the design process to run smoothly and for your expectations to be met. We will work together throughout our initial consultations to determine a reasonable expectation of cost for your space(s) and make every possible effort to work within your budget parameters, but ultimately it is up to you to keep yourself on budget after receiving design proposals and trade quotes. After the initial consultation you will have an estimate of how many hours your project will take to hire us.

what if i have concerns about an item?
Please bring these to our attention immediately throughout the editing process and we will discuss your concerns. Open and honest communication is our policy! If necessary, we will work to find a more desirable solution for you and your home. The decision about what is purchased and installed in your home is ultimately yours as it applies to major furnishings and design elements.

what if we want to add more after we are done?
Increasing the scope of the design is no problem but may require a separate timeline based on our current schedule, and our client workload.

do you work with contractors?
Independent contractors and other home professionals hired by our clients are an integral part of the design process. We maintain excellent partnerships within our local network and do our best to offer appropriate trade recommendations for the completion of your project with whom we have experienced a high quality of service. We work hand-in-hand with all home professionals to see your project through to fruition and ensure your complete satisfaction.

This depends on the scope of the design and items required for purchase. Due to your project timeline, I might quote specific products depending on there lead-times. Of course occasionally there are delays caused by weather, vendor vacations, product backorders, factory errors, and/or other unpredictable influences. All design and home professionals are expected to maintain reasonable momentum throughout the completion of your project.
