November Design Reveal

I had the pleasure of working on this project with Heritage Builders. We started working on this project about four years ago and now it is finally almost complete so I thought I would give you home tour of the first floor. It’s turning out so beautifully.

The Mud Room

What I love so much about this design is that it includes closed storage but still has some open space so the kids can come home from school and unload there backpacks and place there shoes under the open area quickly. I love keeping the entrance of the home as tidy as possible.

The Powder Room

I love to set the stage with paint, wallpaper, and flooring. The decision is whether you want your powder room to blend in with the rest of your home’s decor, or if you want it to stand out on its own in terms of color and style. Because a powder room is a small space, use it as a blank canvas to experiment and take risks with the decor that might feel too overwhelming in a larger, high track areas. We went with muted wallpaper and a gorgeous light fixture as the focal point of this bathroom.

Home Office

Whether you work from home or have carved out a space for something you love (like crafting, reading, or writing), your home office is a place that should inspire the flow of creativity and allow you to get down to business.

Dining Room

Dining rooms are where design-lovers can have fun at home. It’s also the place where some high-end ideas can be tried out and brought to life. This dining room brings high style with a stunning chandelier that is absolutely breathtaking.

Family Room

The predominantly white and grey tones of the room give it an ultra-sophisticated look. I love all the windows brining in natural light. The frame tv is my go-to for any area but especially for over a fireplace.

KITCHEN

There’s a reason the kitchen is called the heart of the home. It’s the place where you gather with friends and family, cook delicious meals and share precious memories, so it deserves to be both stylish and functional. This kitchen features our Wood-Mode cabinetry, and we went with iceberg countertops. As you can see from the pictures, we were putting together the final touches.
